Meet The Runestrand Team
With strong Whatcom County roots, Josh and Tessa have an immense knowledge of the community they love. Living in Bellingham for over four decades, they have seen the evolution of Bellingham from a small college town to a thriving, desirable destination in the PNW.
With years of experience in the ever-changing real estate market, they understand the intricacies of the Whatcom County market and have a wide network of resources and professional contacts to help make their clients’ buying or selling experience an ease.
Josh and Tessa are known for their honest, down-to-earth, genuine personalities and go the extra mile for their clients. They will help you move into your new home and unpack your boxes. They will mow the lawn at your new house when you haven’t yet bought a lawnmower (both true!). They sincerely want to see their clients succeed and strive to make the real estate experience enjoyable.
They are proud parents to two amazing children and know the ins and outs of raising kids in Whatcom County. The city’s proximity to the Bay, rivers, lakes, Mt Baker, hiking trails, and kid-friendly breweries, make Bellingham living a joy!
Meet Tessa Runestrand
Tessa was raised in Bellingham and prides herself on being a community expert. She truly believes Bellingham is one the best cities in all of Washington State and loves to share her knowledge of the area with others.
In her free time, she volunteers at her children’s elementary school, enjoys baking, watches her children excel in their extracurricular activities, and loves to spend time outdoors with her family. Fun fact, Tessa speaks Spanish and has lived in both Mexico and Spain.
Meet Josh Runestrand
Josh is a 4th generation Bellingham resident and boasts deep roots in this community.
He grew up on the Southside and in the Birchwood neighborhood and still connects with many of his childhood neighbors and friends. In his spare time, he enjoys fly-fishing, woodworking, and exploring the outdoors with his wife, two children, and Golden Retriever.
